THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -

Two suspects in a Thomas County burglary led deputies on a car chase early Monday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m. in downtown Ochlocknee.

The two men were trying to break in to the IGA Food Mart.

A patrol officer nearby responded to the scene and that's when the two men took off.

That chase ended in Grady County after the officers used spike sticks to stop the car.

Both 17-year-old Daniel Arnold and a 15-year-old Juvenile were arrested .

"So we were able to prevent the burglary, recover a stolen vehicle, and two people in custody," said Captain Steve Jones with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.

As of Monday night, David Arnold is still in the Thomas County Jail on a $1,600 bond.
