ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -

Dozens of young kids came out to a day full of fun at the local park. Kevion Chatfield organized the event that included bounce houses, food, and even a water balloon fight.

The event included a raffle for a free TV. Grillers also faced off for a $200 reward. The event gave the community an avenue to have fun and stay out of trouble.

“Absolutely we want to give the kids another opportunity to be involved with different ways besides being involved in gang activity, and we want to start at a young age,” said Chatfield.

Chatfield hopes to have more donors next year so the party is bigger. He wants to make it an annual event.
