THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Thomas County Fire Department fought to save a house on Pine Lake Drive, off Dillon Road.
The call came in shortly before 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
Deputy Chief Bob Duthoy said that firemen found flames in the back corner of the home, and about 30% of the building was on fire. No body was home.
Firefighters contained it, but there very heavy damage to the home.
The homeowners have a dog but it was kept outside, and was not harmed
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
