COOK CO., GA (WALB) - Southbound lanes of I-75 are back open following a fiery crash earlier Saturday evening.
Troopers said two tractor trailers traveling southbound near mile marker 46 collided Saturday night around 9 o'clock. The driver of a truck in the right lane lost control of his truck and hit a truck in the center lane. The truck that lost control caught on fire, causing all lanes of the interstate to be blocked.
The driver of the truck who lost control was taken to Tift Regional for treatment.
The interstate reopened about 11:30 Saturday night.
Troopers said both drivers were out of state residents.
