ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Senior citizens are showing off their art in the Shades of Gold exhibit at the Albany Museum of Art.
The artwork was created by seniors from the SOWEGA Council on Aging.
The artists take classes from the Southwest Georgia Enrichment Center throughout the year.
And then once a year, they get to display their art work during the exhibit.
"This is the 23rd year that they've had this exhibition. It hasn't always been here but we've hosted it here for many years along with the reception and award ceremony," said Paula Williams, Albany Museum of Art executive director.
The Shades of Gold exhibit will stay up at the Albany Museum of Art through the end of this month.
