CRISP CO., GA (WALB) -

Agents with the Mid South Task Force and Crisp County Sheriff's Office raided a room at the Ashburn Inn of Cordele and made four arrests Friday.

Eric Newsome, 43, and Anetrice Buckles, 40, were arrested inside the room. They were found with more than $19,000 in cash, meth, cocaine, Xanax, hydrocodone, and marijuana.

Newsome and Buckles were charged with the sale of hydrocodone, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to distribute.

"He was one of the major dealers. We'd received several complaints on him and started the investigation. We just waited until the right time to hit him," said Major Jeff Youngblood with the Mid South Task Force.

Two other suspects that later arrived to the room were also arrested.

Shelly Johnson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

The other individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant, and not on drug related charges.
