DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

Police have identified the victim and made an arrest in connection to a shooting at Lark United Manufacturing in Douglas Friday.

Police said the shooting happened around noon.

The victim was identified as Ricardo Bradshaw, 37.

Witnesses identified the shooter as Andre Maurice Scott, 42.

Police were able to confirm that both the victim and the shooter were employed at Lark United Manufacturing.

While at work, the two men got into a verbal argument that resulted in Scott shooting Bradshaw with a small caliber handgun.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

"It's very crucial. If you don't have anybody that's actually witnessed it, had eyes on it, heard and saw what happened to it, it makes prosecution more difficult," said Commander Bart McCulloch, Douglas Police Department.

Officers said Scott had fled the scene, but returned and is in custody at the Coffee County jail on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Bradshaw was transported to Coffee Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
