ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You can still sign up your kid for summer programs at Chehaw.

They have a cubs program for 3-year-olds each Friday for Parents to enjoy a mini day of camp with their little ones.
Day camps are going on for kids ages 4 to 12.
Sleepaway camps including archery, canoeing and sleeping in teepees.

“They get to get dirty,” said Jackie Entz, Director of Education. “They get to pick up animals instead of reading about them or looking at them in a book. They actually get to meet them up close and personal. On top of that summer camp is really important because they get to meet new children. They get to make new friends."

Chehaw is also gearing up for special activities on World Oceans Day on June 11th.
