MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A Moultrie man is behind bars after police found a puppy tied up to his front door covered in blood.

Pictures of the puppy may be disturbing to some.

Anthony Lee,27, is facing multiple charges including aggravated cruelty to an animal and drug possession.

Police found the puppy tied to his door in the 600 block of 1st Avenue.

The dog's ears had been clipped and a local vet told animal control it appears no anesthetic was used.

Animal control now has custody of the two-month-old puppy.
