ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Walking Dead actor made an appearance in town Saturday night.

Greg Crews stopped by Xion and took photos with fans. Only a few people got the news about Crews appearance.

Crews appeared in the hit AMC show as a refugee that turns into a zombie. Crews was in town and wanted to check out everything Xion had to offer.

“Today was kind of like a pre con event, bringing people out, and just kind of helping him raise awareness for his store. People come in and check out this great store with the gaming, it's just a great time,” said Crews.

The owner of Xion said the store hopes to have more appearances like this. Crews plans to be back in town for the Epicon event.
