One of the bridges over the Flint River in downtown Albany will be closed Saturday. Broad Avenue between Front Street and Broadway Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Drivers can take detour over to Oglethorpe Boulevard and take that bridge.
The city is shutting down that area for a block party.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. there will be a "pop up project" that will include temporary bike lanes.
A DJ will provide entertainment and food trucks will be there serving food.
