Authorities said two people died and one is injured following a wreck on Newton Road in Dougherty County Thursday evening.
Officials identified Walter Lee Wright Jr., 42, and Blake Christopher Busby, 14 as victims of the wreck.
It happened in the 7800 block of Newton Road.
Officials said that the two vehicles involved were a Ford Mustang and a Honda CRV.
Busby was in the Mustang and Wright was the driver of the CRV.
They said the Mustang carried three juveniles and was driven by Carrie Leigh Pritchard, 33. None of juveniles were wearing seat belts, and the Pritchard was taken to the hospital for injuries.
According to officials, the Mustang ran off the road, came back into the road and crossed the center line of the lane and caused the two vehicles to collide.
Passerbys helped to pull both drivers out of the vehicles.
Both vehicles then caught fire.
The wreck caused both lanes of Hwy 91 to be shut down.
Charges are pending.
