DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) - A Sylvester man was captured burglarizing his former employer, a business in Kitty's Flea Market late Tuesday night by Dougherty County Police.

47-year-old Scott Eckard was charged with burglary, entering auto and possession of drug related objects.

Police said that Eckard had worked for Animals Galore and More at Kitty's Flea Market, but was told to leave.

About 11 p.m. Tuesday night, he was spotted breaking into a car outside the business.

Police captured him inside the business. He also had needles and glass pipes that police said are related for drug use.

Eckard is being held in the Dougherty County jail.
