Gas prices hit lows for holiday weekend

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Good news for  those of you planning a vacation with Memorial Day coming up and kids getting out of school. 

Triple-A predicts gas prices will this weekend will hit 11-year lows. Triple-A predicts 33.9-million Americans will hit the road over the holiday weekend... that's the second most ever.

The current national average for a gallon of gas is 2-dollars 28-cents.

The Georgia average is 2.22.
