ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Polls open at 7 a.m. for Tuesday's General Election Primary, and an Albany funeral home is making sure you don't have an excuse not to make it to the polls.

Poteat Funeral Home is offering free rides to voters from their homes to their precincts in one of their limos.

The funeral home director said that they did this years ago and decided it was time to start it back up again.

"This is our way of giving back to the community. Funeral homes years ago did this and this is something that they stopped doing because people have their own cars, but some people don't have cars. Some people don't have transportation so that shouldn't be a reason that they shouldn't be able to go to the poll and vote," said Poteat Funeral Homne Owner and Director Jeffery Wakefield.

To find out how to get a ride from the funeral home, call them at (229) 436-3615.
