ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The trial of an Albany man accused of beating and robbing a couple at an Albany motel last year continued on Wednesday.

Tayon Strozier is charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and aggravated sexual battery, among other charges.

Prosecutors said that Strozier and another man beat Henry Wallace and a female with a baseball bat at an Albany motel in February.

He then robbed them at gunpoint and sexually assaulted the woman.

On Wednesday, an  Albany Police Investigator testified how witnesses led them to Strozier's motel room.

That's where they found Strozier hiding inside the bed, with the couples' stolen phones.

The trial is expected to conclude on Thursday.
