SASSER, GA (WALB) -

Clarence Carter played for an excited crowd in Sasser Saturday night at the flea market.

The attendance will go a long way in determining whether the land owner will hold more concerts out there.

Carter said it was a great opportunity for him.

"Albany is such a good dance town. If you're a performing artist and you get on the stage, you don't have to worry about it. You know how they clap you on and spur you on and tell you "sing it", and all that kind of thing? Albany is good for that," said Carter.

Tickets were $30 at the door.
