CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

Some Camilla students were winners in a national app contest.

The "Uncut" app by students at Westwood Schools won the "Mad About Mattering" app finals.

Freya Griffin, Amanda Hosey, Lexie Taylor, Cassidy Trebony, and their partners from three other schools around the country developed the app to prevent self-harm among teens.

The group's app beat out 12 others designed to tackle social problems.

The app will be available on popular app stores in six to eight weeks.
