VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Kiley Rusen would have loved to end her career with a national championship, but she'll take All-American as a solid consolation.
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association named Rusen an All-American. The Valdosta State first-baseman was the sole blazer on the list.
She notched 21 home runs this season bringing her career tally to 43.
That makes her the third-best slugger in school history. She also received All-Gulf South Conference First Team honor this season...
And it's safe to say the Blazers will miss her offense next season.
