A gang leader charged with murder in the killing of a Crisp Co. man pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced Friday.
Rontavaious Dominic Towns "Mak90" pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of a violation of the Street Gang Terrorism Act for his role in orchestrating the murder of Jasperin "Baby J" Armstrong in September 2014.
Towns was the leader of the Cordele division of the Rollin 20s, a division of the Bloods Street Gang.
He was sentenced to 20 years in prison and an additional 10 years of probation.
Roquel Chavers was previously tried and convicted for the murder of Armstrong, and received a life sentence without parole.
