Voters meet the Dougherty County School Board Candidates

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Political Action Committee of the Albany Metro Area Pan Hellenic Council held a candidate forum downtown. Voters heard from the Dougherty County School Board Candidates.

Representative Ealum's daughter, Susie Ealum, is running for the at-large seat on the Dougherty County School Board against retired educator Geraldine West Hudley.
Ealum told voters businesses want to locate in areas with thriving schools.

Hudley says she wants to work to improve the educational experience for students.

"Our educational system is the foundation to our community,” said Susie Ealum, Dougherty County School Board Candidate. “Everything can be traced back."

"Impact policy, embellish it to make policy that best prepares the environment in which our children are educated,” said Geraldine West Hudley, Dougherty County School Board Candidate.

Dr. Lane Price, who currently holds the at-large seat, is not running for re-election.
