ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The search continues for three car loads of suspects that shot at an East Albany apartment. Police say Tammy Holmes was asleep in her bedroom when gunshots came through her window.

Nearby officers heard them too. The suspects got away before officers arrived.

One city commissioner says the shootings negatively impact economic development.

“When new industries relocate, one of the main things they want is a safe environment. I would appeal to whomever or whoever that might be involved, let's come together and make the city safe,” said Albany City Commissioner Bobby Coleman.

No one was injured in the shooting. The gang unit is investigating.
