Students living in a dorm at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus are taking part in a non-stop experiment.
The house they live in is used to understand and practice energy sustainability.
UGA Research Scientist Craig Kvien says the building generates energy through solar panels.
Kvien says three grad students live there each semester conducting their own research projects. "It gives a real world information bank. We do a lot of research here on issues like how you make a home more sustainable."
Kvien says the school consulted with local farmers to determine how to build the dorm.
