ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

ASU's Vice President of Student Affairs and Success is appointed to a national board serving women.
    

Danette Saylor will serve as an advisory board member for the NASPA Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education Center for Women. Saylor says she asked to be on the outreach committee.

"Because I want to get more women who are working in Higher Education and particularly those who are in student affairs to really start too garner their strength and to get more involved in the profession and to have outlets for them to really show what they can do,” said Danette Saylor, Vice President of Student Affairs and Success at Albany State University.

Saylor will serve a 2-year term on the board that focuses on scholarships, initiatives, and programs by women in higher education.
