TIFTON, GA (WALB) - An organization teamed up with the Atlanta Falcons to educate Moms about their sons' safety in football.
More than 100 mothers attended the Kids & Pros Atlanta Falcons Moms' Clinic at Tift County High School Monday night.
Experts talked about concussions, proper equipment, steroid dangers and tackling techniques.
Shamika Hille said that she attended to support her 16-year-old son who plays football.
"It was very important for him too be a part of the team and being apart of the team was coming to this clinic and I wanted to take part to show my support for him," said Hille.
"We want to educate the mom's on things that they can do and know to help make it better and safer for their kids," explained Kids & Pros Executive Director Buddy Curry.
This is one of 11 clinics throughout the year.
Their next stop will be Columbus on Wednesday.
