ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany comic book store is expecting a rush of customers, all thanks to a day promoting comic books and a new blockbuster movie.

"Captain America: Civil War" released in theaters on Friday.

Officials at Comics and Cards of Albany said seeing the action on screen usually gets fans excited again to head into their store.

"Like in the Summer when there is a lot of Blockbusters going on we get a lot of different people coming in. People we haven't seen in a long time. People we've never seen come in. A lot of people discover us when these movies come out and they're looking for something to satisfy what they want to read," said customer service rep Wade Norton.

The store is also participating in the 15th Annual Free Comic Book Day on Saturday.

Marvel and DC Comics will put out free comic books, and the store will also offer special deals on other comics.
