ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You may notice a lot of law enforcers at Krispy Kreme on Friday night and Saturday.

Police officers are partnering with the doughnut shop for the twelfth year to "raise dough" for the Special Olympics.

Sheriff Kevin Sproul said he wants to raise more than $15,000 to send local athletes to the state summer Special Olympics in Atlanta.

"We do basketball, bowling, bocce." said athlete Philip Ford.

The event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run program, which is the largest fundraiser for Special Olympics in Georgia.
