ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some Albany State students showcase their videography and editing skills.

The Mass Communications Department held their "Final Screening" of student-produced documentaries and fiction shorts.
The seven 15 minute videos included stories about "natural" hair for African American women, artistic talent, and even a murder mystery.

"They have to develop the script, they have to develop the casting session if they are doing fiction, they go out and shoot their documentary,” said Alfonso Moises, Associate Professor & Coordinator of Mass Communications. “That's the main experience and finally to have a screening so that they can see how the audience reacts to their work."

This is the fifth year the Mass Communications Department has held a final screening to allow the students to share their work publicly.
