Super speeder leads police on 10 mile chase

LENOX, GA (WALB) -

A ten mile car chase heading south on I-75 ended in an arrest on Thursday.

According to the Lenox Police Department, Keylann Taylor was arrested after leading authorities on a ten mile chase on the interstate starting at mile marker 49.

Officials said that police attempted to stop Taylor around 9:20 Thursday morning for a speeding violation when he was clocked going 95 miles per hour in a 70 zone.

Taylor fled police but surrounding agencies set up a road block and stopped him at Exit 39.

Taylor was arrested and faces several traffic violations which include attempt to elude, speeding and reckless driving, along with four other charges.

Nobody was injured and no accidents occurred as a result of the car chase.
