Overnight construction on I-75 at Exit 13 in Lowndes County was expected to run through Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday if needed. But now it will be extended through Thursday.
Due to severe weather, crews were unable to work on I-75 Tuesday night.
Now the detour at Old Clyattville Road will be pushed to extend through Thursday night.
The detour will begin at 9 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
People on the Interstate will get off at Exit 13 and take Old Clyattville Road to Gil Harbin Industrial Boulevard, turn onto Madison Highway and get back onto I-75 at Exit 11.
