ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A fundraiser at the Hassan Temple brought a little taste of New Orleans to Southwest Georgia.
Easter Seals Southern Georgia hosted a Crawfish boil and fundraiser for Meghan's House.
It's a care home for children with developmental disabilities, autism, or severe medical issues.
Folks participated in a silent auction to raise funds.
"The parents of disabled children, there is no such thing as a clock. It's twenty four seven," said celebrity chef Paula Deen.
Executive director of Easter Seals Beth English said these fundraisers will go towards building bigger and better Meghan's House facilities.
