Boy scouts say "thank you" to supporters

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The South Georgia Council of Boy Scouts of America held an appreciation dinner at Albany's Hasan Temple and talked about upcoming programs.
    

Retired Army Lt. General William Webster talked to the crowd about how the organization shaped him.

"The kind of leadership and preparedness and readiness for whatever comes that the boy scouts gives our young men of character, builds leaders of character will help our country in the future,” said Lt. General William Webster.

There are nearly 3 million boy scouts in America.
