LEE CO., GA (WALB) - Lee County commissioners also approved spending $1.3-million to upgrade the emergency radio communications systems.

It will improve communication with agencies in other counties during major emergencies.
The county will finalize the purchase with Motorola as long as Albany does the same.
Lee County will share the system with Dougherty, Grady,Thomas and Decatur Counties.
