Clerk thwarts would-be robbers at Albany business

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

According to Albany Police, two black males went to the One Stop Food Shop in Albany and tried to rob the store.

One of the men had a shotgun and went inside the business in the 1400 block of West Oakridge, but the clerk pushed the robber out of the store with help from another employee.

Then both men left the shop in a white vehicle.

At this time, the scene is still active and detectives and Crime Scene Units have been called in to investigate.

No injuries have been reported.
