SEMINOLE CO., GA (WALB) -

Authorities say that 56-year-old Blunch Bell was killed Friday in Seminole County, after he was hit by a car.

The accident happened on Three Notch Road, around 11:00PM. The driver of the car was 19-year old Tigari Wilson. He's not charged right now, but the investigation is ongoing.

Wilson told troopers that he saw Bell walking in the northbound lane of Three Notch Road just north of Ashe Crossing.

Wilson then said he backed up to see who was in the road. Troopers say Wilson hit Bell in the southbound lane, with the right rear of the vehicle, as he was backing up.

Troopers say Bell crossed the road while the car was backing up. Wilson and a passenger put Bell in the car and took him to the hospital for treatment, but he died later that evening.

Troopers don't believe any crime took place. The reconstruction team is looking at the location of the impact and other factors right now.

They're still interviewing witnesses.

Bell is the second man to be killed in similar fashion this month in Seminole County.

On April 6th, 69-year-old Lamar Martin was walking down Highway 91, and turned onto South Wiley Avenue, when the driver of a car headed south on Highway 91 turned onto Wiley Avenue, and struck Martin, who was walking in the road.
