Student hospitalized after school bus crash in Coffee Co.

COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

According to the Coffee County Police Scanner Facebook page, a few students were recovering after a school bus crash in Coffee County Monday morning.

The crash happened around 8:00AM, on Highway 441 North, at the Catfish House.

Reports from Coffee County said that EMTs assessed three students at the scene and one child was taken to the hospital by EMS.

The GSP confirmed that the driver of the pickup did run the red light, and will be cited for evading a traffic signal.

Only two kids went to the hospital. One went by ambulance, and another one was taken by their parents.
