A cotton seed fire is smoldering in Douglas.
Two weeks ago a fire started at a cotton gin, in a large pile of cotton seed, and it's still smoldering.
Cotton gin workers are removing the seeds on layer at a time, which may take two or three more weeks.
People with respiratory problems are being told to avoid the area, or stay inside until the smoke smell has cleared.
