UPDATE: Truck driver identified in fatal I-75 wreck

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -

One person died in an early morning wreck on I-75 Wednesday morning.

On Thursday, WALB learned that the victim was truck driver Robert Harris, of Xenia, Ohio.

EMS, the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene.

According to GSP, two tractor trailers wrecked at Exit 82.

The first tractor trailer was trying to take Exit 82 when it was rear-ended by the second tractor trailer. Both came to a stop on the 82 northbound ramp.

The tractor of the second truck caught on fire, which led to the trailer of the first semi catching on fire.

Harris, the driver of the second truck, which rear ended the first, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Two other tractor trailers and a car were damaged by debris from the crash.

A juvenile sustained an injury from a seatbelt. 

No charges are being filed.
