ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -

Police say a recent shooting is tied to gang activity in the city. Ontario Hall and Markeal Knight are charged with aggravated assault and criminal street gang activity.

Marquis Knight and Deandre Jameon High were booked on the same charges. Police say Montes Jackson was shot at the G NEZ convenience store in March.

Fighting this gang activity is their number one priority.

"That's very important because you have a lot of other crimes involved with the gang activity, such as your burglaries and drug sales, narcotics, and plus the violence of this type,” said

Jackson was not seriously injured in the incident. It's unclear if more arrests will be made.
