ALBANY, GA (WALB) - People were already out taking advantage of that nice weather Sunday.
More paddlers were out on the water on Chehaw.
That's because some kayak and canoe rental businesses are beginning to open up shop for the season.
Kayak Attack set up at the entrance of Chehaw Park. Owners say they've already seen a lot of business.
"There are people out here biking. So, we've been able to touch base with a broad range of people than normally we wouldn't be able to. So, it's been nice," said Theresa Lorber
The Kayak Attack owners say they recently partnered up with Chehaw. The business will be there through the end of the summer.
Skaters were also enjoying the beautiful weather this afternoon at the Albany Riverskate park downtown.
More than a dozen people were showing off their moves on the perfect day. One skater said with weather so clear, it's a wonder anyone would stay inside.
