ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Lady Cavaliers sit in third place in the GCAA. They will look to serve up some home cooking to climb even higher in seeding for the pending region 17 tournament.
Darton State has just two more home doubleheaders to finish out their regular season schedule.
Saturday afternoon they face Gordon college, a team with only one region win to their name this season.
And on Tuesday they face Andrew college who they split with in early March on the road.
Head coach Amber Miles knows if the Lady Cavs win out they will secure the third seed at the least, and will have momentum going into the tourney.
"They've really been starting to play well together and play well as a team," said Miles. "And that's been exciting to see. Just everything they've don't. You can just see it in their eyes, they want it really bad and they want it not just for themselves, they want it for each other."
Saturday's game will be sophomore day. The Lady Cavs will send off their veterans for one last time.
