LAKELAND, GA (WALB) -

The luckiest lady in Lakeland has claimed a very large check from the Georgia Lottery.

Tammy Radabaugh, 52, matched all six numbers from the April 7 Jumbo Bucks Lotto drawing, winning the $3.9 million jackpot prize. Bulldogs #2, 14 West Main Street in Lakeland, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket. Winning numbers from the drawing were: 14-15-31-36-38-44.

"I was taking my granddaughter to karate practice and decided to buy a ticket," Radabaugh said.

She checked the results of the drawing on the Georgia Lottery’s website. "I had heart palpitations for a moment," the lucky winner said. "I couldn’t fathom that amount."

Radabaugh and her husband, William, have three adult children, and eight grandchildren.

Radabaugh thinks she'll build a new home for her family. "And, I’ll buy more toys for my granddaughter," she added.

Jumbo Bucks Lotto is a Georgia Lottery jackpot game available only in Georgia. Drawings are held every Monday and Thursday. Tickets are $1 per play.

Today’s jackpot is $1.1 million.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $17 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
