Employees at the A.T.& T. service center in downtown Albany walked together Wednesday for their health. 40 employees from the A. T. & T. premium care support team spend a large part of their day sitting, on the phone with customers. For the second year in a row, they held a team one mile walk, for their health.
Service Representative Femi Anderson said "We're doing it to build for our heart. The majority of the people at the office are women, so you know it's a big issue with heart issues with women. Along with about 5 other guys we decided to walk for health reasons."
The walkers had a water station at the Albany Fire Department headquarters.
The firefighters handed out water to the walkers, as part of their commitment to serving the community.
