AUGUSTA, GA (WALB) -
Six time Masters Champ Jack Nicklaus said that Thursday's honorary tee shot will be a little sad this year without golf great and longtime friend Arnold Palmer.
Palmer will not take a tee shot this Thursday alongside Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus.
The big three have teed off together since 2012 to start the tournament.
"We'll miss Arnold as far as hitting the golf ball. I guess Arnold is coming out to the first tee, and we'll see. I have a sneaky suspicion if Arnold wants to, he would be welcome to hit a golf ball if he'd like," said Nicklaus.
The trio won 13 Masters championships between them.
