2 children, 2 adults injured in wreck on US 82

DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -

Four people were taken to the hospital after a wreck on US 82 near the Fast Lane Convenience Store.

The accident happened around 7:18 Tuesday night.

A driver of a Kia was turning to go to Fast Lane when they struck a Chevy Malibu heading east on US 82.

Three people inside the Malibu and one inside the Kia were taken to the hospital, two of the four injured were kids and two were adults.

Officials said that charges are pending against the driver of the Kia.

No word yet on the condition of those taken to the hospital.
