ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany's new indoor football team notched their first win of the season tonight.

A small crowd took in the game at the Civic Center. Saturday night marked was the Firebird's second home game.

One fan said the city should support the new team win, lose, or draw.

“We love our firebirds. We want them to stay. So we got to support them. We got to support them no matter what. Win, loss, it's all about coming here, having fun, and playing a game,” said fan Patrick O’Flynn.

The Firebirds beat the Savannah Steam 43-34.
