Douglas Police have charged a teenager in connection to the robbery at Aden's Minit Market.

On March 29, officials were called to the 1000 block of East Baker Highway at about 2:45 a.m.

According to an employee, two black males entered the store. One of the suspects then punched her and demanded money.

Both suspects fled the scene on bicycles with an undisclosed amount of the stolen money.

Upon investigation, officers arrested a 16-year-old juvenile.

The juvenile is currently being held at a Regional Youth Detention Center and charged with robbery.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Douglas Police Department at 912-384-2222 or the Tips Line at 912-260-3600.
