ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Firebirds paid the kids a visit at the Albany Boys and Girls Club.
Every child walked away with tickets to Saturday's game.
"It just goes to show, the things we teach here is really positive and it's really a special day when one of our alumni can come back and give tickets to our young people to expose them to arena football," said Albany Boys and Girls Club CEO Marvin Laster.
The Firebirds general manager was more than happy to give back to the club he attended as a child.
"It's all about the kids. We literally mean that when we say that. We don't just say that because it sounds good. We really take seriously the young people and our future leaders," said Firebirds general manager Terence Fowler.
The game will be held at the civic center Saturday against the Savannah Steam.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
