Power cut off in Palmyra area during pole repair

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

City officials are worked to replace a damaged power pole on the intersection of 15th Avenue and Palmyra Road. According to officials, a vehicle clipped the power pole and damaged it.

Crews were required to shut off power in order to finish the job.

Between 100 and 150 customers on the east side of Palmyra Road were without power during the repair.
