THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Just before 4:00AM Thursday, Thomasville Police responded to Forsyth Street, in reference to a home invasion.

Three people there told the officer that someone was shot. Backup was called for, and officers learned that the suspects ran off toward Madison Alley.

Roscoe Ross told officers he was at his home on Stevens Street and came running over when he heard the shot.

The police reports says that Ladarius Ross was lying on the front porch of the house, and told officers that he had been shot in the back.

Officers saw blood on Ross' clothing as he tried to cover the wound.

The report indicates that some electronics and jewelry were taken, but not whether Roscoe and Ladrius Ross are related.
